Description
Our Strata Mini Pendant is an abstract cylinder-shaped pendant. It provides ample down-light without glare. You can use this modern-inspired cylinder ceiling light in multiple rooms in your home. For example, you can use it over a small table in a living room or sitting area. Or in a guest bath or grouped in a series over a stunning kitchen island. Similarly, many of our designers enjoy mixing-and-matching with other shapes and styles from the Studio Collection. You can also use Smart Bulbs in our light fixtures. It’s also important to note, all of our fixtures are made in the USA.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR USE
All fixtures are suitable for indoor/damp locations. You can place them in any room of your house including: bathrooms, patios and garages. When using outside our Standard/Damp Location wall sconces they need to be under an eave or overhang.
However, some fixtures can be used in direct rain. You will need to choose our Outdoor/WET Location lamping for this option. You can view all Outdoor/WET fixtures here.

Finishes
While our bisque ceramic finish is beautiful in its natural bare state, we can make it ANY color. Choose from one of our popular glazes, faux or solid acrylic finishes, or specify a color from a recognized quality paint brand (e.g. Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore). If you enjoy DIY, our bare bisque ceramic is smooth and easy to paint.
BARE BISQUE
Our clay produces a beautiful matte off-white bisque finish when fired. You can use our natural bisque fixtures for a clean and simple look, you can paint the bare bisque yourself, or we can apply your choice of finish for you.
CUSTOM OPTIONS GALORE
Allow us to make your fixtures match your decor perfectly. If one of our most popular finishes isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, you can

All of our finishes are applied to order. Adding a finish makes your order custom. Custom fixtures are non-returnable. Subtle differences in color and texture from batch to batch are characteristics of our handmade products.

Installation
All of our lighting fixtures come complete with installation hardware and are easy to mount to a standard round or octagonal junction box.
LINE VOLTAGE PENDANT MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: FAILURE TO INSTALL THIS FIXTURE PROPERLY MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH AND PROPERTY DAMAGE. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
This product must be installed in accordance with applicable installation code(s), by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.*
Caution: Do not exceed maximum wattage noted on fixture.

To Install
- Turn off power at the main breaker box prior to starting installation.
- Using two box machine screws (D) fasten the crossbar to the electric box.
- Slide cord grip (L) with threaded nipple (F) and canopy (J) over the pendant
cord (H). - Feed pendant cord (H) through center hole in crossbar (G) and secure by crimping cord with strain relief (I).
- Connect fixture wires to the supply wires in outlet box–black to black (A), white to white (C). Connect branch circuit ground wire (B) to green ground screw (E) on crossbar (G).
WARNING: Never connect ground wire to white or black power supply wires.
- Place canopy (J) over outlet box and secure by turning cord grip (L) with threaded nipple (F) into center of crossbar (G). Tighten set screw (K) on cord grip(L).
- With power still off, insert light bulbs.
Caution: Do not exceed maximum wattage noted on fixture. NOT SUITABLE FOR TUNGSTEN HALOGEN

Care & Maintenance
BARE BISQUE
Natural “bisque” (unpainted ceramic) fixtures can be cleaned by sanding with fine 150-grit sandpaper. Do not use liquid cleaners on the porous bisque surface.
PAINTING BISQUE
If you enjoy DIY, our bare bisque ceramic is smooth and easy to paint. You may use any basic acrylic or latex paint of your choosing. For the ease of clean-up, etc. water based paint is recommended. Should you choose oil based paint (e.g., a can of spray paint), we recommend using an appropriate primer first; otherwise, a primer is not necessary.
FINISHES
A19’s finishes are durable enough to hold up to wear both indoors and out. The exterior surface can be dusted or wiped clean with a non-abrasive damp cloth or sponge.
DAMP & WET LOCATIONS
To prevent water from reaching the electrical connections, apply a bead of silicone around the full perimeter of the fixture housing to seal it to the wall surface. Our standard damp location fixtures are suitable for indoor or outdoor locations subject to condensation of moisture. Select our Outdoor/WET rated option when the light fixture or electrical components will be directly exposed to rain water.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
A19 ceramic lighting fixtures are made under the highest standards of quality and workmanship. In addition to, A-19, Inc. warrants to the original consumer purchaser for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home. If your light fixtures are purchased for industrial, commercial and business use you are warranted for a period of 5 years. See Full Warranty
